Dr Reva Gudi, Conservative Prospective Parliamentary Candidate for Feltham and Heston, joined Laura Blumenthal for a meeting on women's health at the West Middlesex Hospital.
Members of the public also joined and it was a constructive discussion on how the hospital could improve healthcare services and communication with women. Dr Reva Gudi is a GP herself so shared her own experiences of obstacles some women face accessing healthcare and feeling confident in the system.
Hospital colleagues included clinical staff as well as communications professionals. Laura says:
The West Mid Hospital is rated outstanding for maternity services. This is a place which gets women's health right and by hosting a meeting on women's health shows how seriously they take this. I look forward to continuing to work with the hospital on improving communications and services for residents.
